POSITION OVERVIEW

The Healthcare Solutions Specialist role is a dynamic position that offers individuals exposure to various operational departments within VaxCare. This role involves several multi-month rotations across different teams, aimed at fostering a robust understanding of VaxCare's operational framework and Core Values, as well as our partners and technology. This experience allows employees to witness how our Core Values are embodied in daily operations. Through extended engagement with diverse departments (with rotations lasting between 3 to 5 months), employees can discover a career trajectory that aligns with their skills and interests while developing new competencies and forging essential relationships to advance their career paths.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

We believe that the most effective way to learn about VaxCare is through direct interaction with our Partners. Many rotations for the Healthcare Solutions Specialist involve training on resolving Partner inquiries, followed by opportunities to apply this newly acquired knowledge in real-world partner interactions. Individuals in this role are expected to exemplify VaxCare's Core Values consistently while achieving the performance objectives and SMART goals set at the beginning of each rotation. Rotations may include, but are not limited to, the following teams:

  • Customer Care Generalist Team: This team provides support for incoming inquiries via phone, chat, and email, addressing a wide range of partner questions. This initial rotation emphasizes learning and includes several weeks of training interspersed with practical application of acquired knowledge.
  • Customer Care Inventory Team: This rotation focuses on resolving inventory-specific inquiries from partners through various communication channels. It offers foundational insights into VaxCare's inventory processes, which are a key aspect of our value proposition.
  • Customer Care Payments Team: Participants in this rotation address payment-related inquiries from partners, gaining introductory knowledge of VaxCare's payment processes, including billing, eligibility responses, and partner compensation.
  • Customer Care Platform & Interfaces Team: This team resolves technology-related inquiries from partners, providing an introductory understanding of VaxCare's technology, including Hubs, Mobile Hubs, and the Partners Portal, as well as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Integrations.
  • The Hub Team: The Hub is a critical tool for our Partners to manage their vaccine processes. This rotation offers in-depth exposure to all aspects of the Hub, which is fundamental to our operations.
  • The Inventory Management Team: Building on knowledge from the Customer Care Inventory rotation, this team delves into back-office operations related to inventory processes, including returns, order exceptions, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Revenue Cycle Management Team: This rotation expands on the Customer Care Payments knowledge by providing insights into back-office operations that support VaxCare's payment processes, including patient billing and collections.
