Position Overview:

We are seeking a Readiness and Medical Solutions Intern to assist in the research, development, and implementation of AI technologies aimed at improving human performance within healthcare environments. This role is integral to our mission of delivering cutting-edge AI solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate AI technologies into both new and existing medical systems, with an emphasis on operational psychology and physiological monitoring.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project leaders, and program managers to meet project objectives.
  • Support senior researchers in modeling and analyzing data to create advanced medical simulation technologies.
  • Apply robust software engineering practices to ensure the dependability of AI systems.
  • Assist in designing data pipelines and infrastructure for medical AI applications.
  • Engage in integrated testing sessions with industry partners, academic institutions, and clients.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for medical AI solutions.
  • Document software architecture, system designs, and testing methodologies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing software components using Python, Java, and/or C++.
  • Strong interest in AI and healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Experience in system design and debugging.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as GitLab or Jira.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant software programming experience in a similar field.
  • Advanced degree in clinical psychology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge or experience in areas such as medical simulation, physiological sensors, Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, crisis intervention systems, multi-modal AI systems, and human-agent collaboration.
  • Experience with development projects in defense or aerospace technology.
  • Active Department of Defense (DOD) Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
