POSITION OVERVIEW
The Healthcare Solutions Generalist role is a dynamic position that offers individuals exposure to various operational departments within VaxCare. This role involves several multi-month rotations across different teams, aimed at fostering a comprehensive understanding of VaxCare's operational framework and Core Values, as well as our partners and technology. This structure allows employees to identify a career trajectory that resonates with their skills and interests while acquiring new competencies and building essential relationships to support their professional growth.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
We believe that the most effective way to learn about VaxCare is through direct interaction with our Partners. Many rotations for the Healthcare Solutions Generalist include training on resolving Partner inquiries, followed by opportunities to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. Individuals in this role are expected to embody VaxCare's Core Values consistently while achieving the performance objectives and SMART goals set at the beginning of each rotation. Rotations encompass, but are not limited to, the following teams:
- Customer Care Generalist Team: This team provides support for incoming inquiries via phone, chat, and email, addressing a wide range of Partner questions. This initial rotation emphasizes learning and includes several weeks of training combined with practical application opportunities.
- Customer Care Inventory Team: Focused on inventory-specific inquiries, this rotation offers foundational knowledge of VaxCare's inventory processes, a key component of our value proposition.
- Customer Care Payments Team: This team addresses payment-related inquiries from Partners, providing insights into VaxCare's payment processes, including billing and eligibility responses.
- Customer Care Platform & Interfaces Team: This rotation involves resolving technology-related inquiries, offering an introductory understanding of VaxCare's technological infrastructure, including Hubs and EMR Integrations.
- The Hub Team: Responsible for managing the essential tool used by our Partners to oversee their vaccine processes, this rotation provides in-depth exposure to all aspects of the Hub.
- The Inventory Management Team: Building on knowledge from the Customer Care Inventory rotation, this team focuses on back-office operations related to inventory processes, including order fulfillment and reconciliations.
- Revenue Cycle Management Team: This rotation delves deeper into the payment process, covering patient billing, collections, and claim research.
