Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in our commitment to protecting our clients' personnel, operations, and time by delivering outstanding service and precise information. This role involves collaboration across various organizational levels to foster company growth. The Inside Sales Representative will cultivate and sustain relationships with both existing and prospective clients, addressing their requirements in work zone management, including Traffic Control, Flagging, and Sign Installation, as well as fulfilling their needs for Traffic Control equipment, rentals, and sales.

  • Coordinate traffic control setups for clients.
  • Oversee and manage all projects within our ERP System.
  • Support the expansion of the company and the utilization of Automated Flagger Assistance Devices (AFADs) for clients.
  • Assist in the growth of the Signs and Sales division through installations and equipment sales.
  • Engage in the continuous enhancement of processes, tracking, production, and billing for each project.
  • Possess a clear understanding of the sales funnel.
  • Meet with current and potential clients to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of business while generating leads for future opportunities.
  • Track all client interactions and review invoices to ensure account accuracy.
  • Deliver prompt, reliable, and friendly customer service.
  • Understand P&L and its relevance to the business.
  • Achieve or surpass a revenue target of $3,800,000 annually from traffic control equipment, rentals, and sales.
  • Schedule and attend 1-2 client meetings daily, totaling over 350 annually.
  • Secure 12-15 new orders weekly, aiming for 1-3 large orders monthly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in both inside and outside sales is preferred.
  • Highly organized with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop, nurture, and manage client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Motivated to learn new skills and advance in the future.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
The employee must be able to manage the physical demands of this role, which include:

  • Standard working hours are typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • A workweek of 40+ hours may include holidays and weekends.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items may be required.
  • Frequent standing, walking, or reaching with hands and arms.
