Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the Restaurant Leader and Assistant Restaurant Leader in leading operational excellence of the restaurant and upholding Raising Canes standards and culture in all areas of restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restaurant Operations
    • Execute restaurant operations functions, including managing cash handling and ensuring accountability.
    • Act as manager on duty and open and close the restaurant.
  • Shift Management
    • Enforce Raising Canes policies and standards.
    • Execute shift management meeting Raising Canes operations and safety standards.
    • Use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective action when needed.
  • Crew Management
    • Deploy crewmembers during a shift.
    • Provide exemplary customer service.
    • Utilize the reward and recognition program for crewmembers in the restaurant.
  • Facility Maintenance
    • Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and ensure the facility is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
    • New restaurant opening experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing.
    • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
    • Able to recognize and analyze problems, set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action to solve problems.
    • Proficient in a variety of technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), and able to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
