Additional Earnings: This role qualifies for an annual performance bonus.

Position Summary:

Bluestaq is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead significant programs from inception to completion. The successful candidate will leverage their program management and systems engineering expertise to align teams with Bluestaq's strategic objectives. Your effectiveness in this role will hinge on your ability to manage the intricacies of program management, your proficiency in agile methodologies, and your exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring alignment towards common goals.
  • Program Management: Oversee programs from conception to execution, focusing on strategic planning, monitoring, and control to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, aligning efforts with Bluestaq's strategic vision and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Scheduling Expertise: Develop and implement detailed project schedules to maintain flexibility and success in program timelines.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Enhance program planning and reporting processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation and insightful analysis.
  • Technical Guidance: Utilize your technical knowledge to positively impact program outcomes, resolve conflicts, and foster consensus.
  • Customer Focus: Advocate for customer needs within development teams, prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Innovation in Tools: Innovate project management tools, creating dashboards and templates that provide essential operational insights.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 12+ years in Program Management and Systems Engineering, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Defense Sector Knowledge: Experience with the US Space Force and military background is advantageous.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficient in both Agile and traditional program management practices.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build trust and lead teams through influence.
  • Mentorship: Strong mentoring capabilities combined with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Risk Management: Expertise in identifying and mitigating risks to program success.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate solutions and make informed decisions.
  • Multitasking: Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

  • Travel Requirements: This position may require travel within and outside the continental United States.

Education Requirements: 12+ years in Program Management and Systems Engineering with a Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent experience as specified.

Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance, requiring US Citizenship and compliance with background screening.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation assistance; candidates must reside in the immediate area or manage their own relocation expenses.
