Position Description:
Bluestaq is seeking a Senior Program Management Leader to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will oversee critical programs from inception to completion, leveraging their program management and systems engineering expertise. This role requires a deep understanding of software development for military applications and the ability to unify teams towards Bluestaq's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building in the Defense Sector: Foster lasting relationships with Bluestaq customers, stakeholders, and partners, aligning the Bluestaq team towards common goals.
- Program Lifecycle Management: Skillfully navigate programs from concept to completion, focusing on strategic planning, diligent monitoring, and effective control to ensure success.
- Strategic Leadership: Lead cross-functional team initiatives, aligning with Bluestaq's strategic objectives and optimizing resource utilization.
- Schedule Management Expertise: Execute meticulous planning and scheduling, essential for maintaining flexible and successful program timelines.
- Advanced Program Reporting: Refine our program planning and reporting processes, ensuring comprehensive documentation and insightful program analysis.
- Technical Leadership: Utilize your technical knowledge and operational insights to positively impact program outcomes, resolve conflicts, and build consensus.

- Program Management Experience: 12+ years in Program Management and Systems Engineering, with a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Defense Community Expertise: Practical experience with the US Space Force and military experience is advantageous.
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies: Proficient in Agile and traditional program management principles, capable of effectively leading diverse teams.
- Influential Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build trust and guide teams and stakeholders through influence.
- Team Development and Mentorship: Strong mentoring capabilities, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Risk Management Capabilities: Proficient in identifying and mitigating potential risks to program success.
- Analytical and Critical Thinking: Skilled at evaluating alternative solutions and making sound decisions.
- Efficient Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

- This position may require CONUS and OCONUS travel.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
