Job Overview:
The Senior LEAP Program Eligibility Coordinator will support the Eligibility Supervisor in managing the LEAP (Low-income Energy Assistance Program) for the Colorado Department of Human Services, as facilitated by Goodwill of Colorado.

Compensation:
$19 - $20/hour
This role is eligible for Daily Pay, allowing employees to access their earnings on a flexible schedule.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend and overtime hours.
This position qualifies for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
All employees may contribute to our retirement plan with pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) options, available to those 18 years and older.

Remote Work:
After training and with Supervisor approval, remote work may be an option. Applicants must reside in Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:
  • LEAP Program Oversight:
    The Senior Coordinator will participate in State LEAP training to gain comprehensive knowledge of the program, ensuring compliance for the Eligibility Specialists involved in PEAK application processing.
  • Training and Development:
    Assist in the training, scheduling, and monitoring of LEAP staff, ensuring they meet processing goals.
  • Data Management:
    Utilize various databases to verify applicant information and maintain confidentiality while managing caseloads.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    Review Salesforce reports and conduct random casefile audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with state requirements.
  • Team Leadership:
    Motivate and guide the LEAP team, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Relationship Building:
    Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners, representing Goodwill of Colorado positively.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of clerical and administrative experience.
  • Experience as a PEAK Eligibility Specialist within the LEAP Program.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, strong math abilities, and the capacity to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • A professional demeanor and appearance that reflect the organization's values.
