Position Overview:

The Senior Recruitment Specialist plays a crucial role in the staffing operations for both hourly and salaried roles. This position is responsible for identifying and attracting high-caliber candidates for various openings within Saft America, Inc., collaborating closely with Program Directors, Plant Managers, and Supervisors to understand specific job requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of comprehensive knowledge in HR functions, ideally within a manufacturing context; at least 3 years of experience in recruitment.
  • Prior experience with federal contracts and engagement with federal clients is essential.
  • Applicants must demonstrate attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with standard practices and concepts in Human Resources, including knowledge of federal regulations such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, ERISA, Workmen's Compensation, ADEA, EEOC, OSHA, etc.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the recruitment process for exempt, non-exempt, temporary staff, and interns by drafting and placing job advertisements, conducting orientation for new hires, and overseeing the career development program.
  • Contribute to the establishment of departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Support the affirmative action initiatives; prepare and submit the EEO-1 report annually, and maintain necessary records and reports to comply with EEO regulations.
  • Manage human resources information system records and generate reports as needed, ensuring adherence to federal and state employment regulations.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements within the site using the Concur system.
