Position Overview

Stealth Recruiting Services is representing a distinguished and expanding CPA firm.

They are currently seeking a full-time Senior Tax Specialist to handle tax and accounting responsibilities as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee multiple client engagements to ensure timely deliverables
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across various levels
  • Examine intricate and multi-state corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and individual income tax filings
  • Take charge of preparing more complex tax returns as necessary
  • Handle 1040's, 1041's, 1120's, and 1065's
  • Possess knowledge of Estate and Trust taxation
  • Provide financial planning services for high-net-worth clients (including estates, gifting, and IRA strategies)
  • Manage the resolution of tax notices and audits with governmental bodies
  • Conduct tax research and offer training on relevant topics
  • Develop year-end tax projections and strategies for quarterly estimates and planning
  • Supervise workflow and maintain client relationships
  • Guide and mentor junior accountants on various engagements
  • Deliver educational communications and webinars tailored to client needs
  • Exhibit strong technical tax skills and foster robust client relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in public accounting managing multiple engagements
  • CPA designation preferred/required with a diverse tax background
  • Experience in Financial Assurance/Audit is advantageous
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks
  • Team-oriented with skills in leadership and staff development
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
