Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Overnight Veterinary Care Specialist to enhance our exceptional team.

As a vital member of our busy Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including triage, in-hospital treatment, outpatient services, and specialized overnight patient care. While certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) is preferred, we also welcome applicants with substantial experience in patient management, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory operations, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and radiographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with our team of Internists to ensure exceptional patient and client care.
  • Foster a supportive team environment.
  • Implement safe and low-stress handling techniques for patients.
  • Collect blood samples and conduct laboratory tests.
  • Perform radiographic imaging.
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients.
  • Assist with client appointments.
  • Provide education to clients regarding pet care.
  • Support anesthetic and endoscopic procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and clients.
  • Exhibit punctuality, professionalism, and reliability.
Work Schedule:
  • Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Participation in on-call rotation.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $21 - $31 per hour.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 2-3 years of veterinary experience in a specialty environment.
  • RVT certification is preferred.
