We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Vice President, Risk Oversight Management II within our Corporate Trust Governance and Controls team. This position allows for a hybrid work arrangement.

In this capacity, you will contribute significantly in the following areas:

  1. Oversee first line of defense risk and control management initiatives aligned with regulatory and policy standards.
  2. Identify, assess, and track operational risks to facilitate informed decision-making by leadership.
  3. Provide expert guidance and support on operational risk matters, ensuring robust processes.
  4. Collaborate with various business units to conduct thorough risk assessments and self-evaluations in line with our Risk Management Framework.
  5. Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and policies.
  6. Foster a strong risk culture by enhancing the risk awareness of team members and implementing best practices.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with other departments, including risk specialists, to ensure comprehensive risk assessment.
  8. Possess in-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  9. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective communication abilities.
  10. Demonstrate leadership capabilities by guiding junior team members and contributing to project success.
  11. Support complex initiatives and provide insights on regulatory interpretations.

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is essential.
  2. 4 - 7 years of experience in Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, or related fields.
  3. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  4. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
