Key Responsibilities

To foster your growth and success within The Toro Company, you will be tasked with:

  • Assessing ERP, MRP, and MES systems/functions, including innovative technologies, for their relevance in a manufacturing context. Participate or lead project teams in the deployment of new solutions and enhancements that align with strategic and operational goals, including parts and process standardization, change management, configuration management, data management, equipment lifecycle management, and information access.
  • Maintaining and/or developing processes and systems. Supporting user training and ensuring compliance with established requirements.
  • Troubleshooting system and process challenges.
  • Identifying and facilitating business process enhancements. Providing process support to other enterprise functions such as manufacturing, parts, cost accounting, and cost management.
  • Acting in accordance with the long-range plans, annual objectives, and policies of all CAEP's customers to achieve goals.
  • Creating training materials for supported systems and processes, providing resources for user training.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, along with 5-6 years of relevant experience in injection molding plastic processing.
  • Familiarity with water/gas injection, over molding, in-mold labeling, and extrusion is advantageous.
  • Excellent listening skills combined with strong communication abilities. Capable of articulating ideas clearly and presenting viewpoints effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering system/program users across the organization to achieve project objectives.
  • Proficient in solving engineering-related challenges with minimal guidance. Proven adaptability and learning capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

Mold Master II certification

Experience with extrusion

Knowledge of SMED, PFMEA, SPC, lean methodologies, and NPD.

Familiarity with SAP, CAD, and/or Windchill software.

Additional Job-Related Components:

  • Occasionally guided in various aspects of the role. Exposure to complex tasks within the job function.
  • Office environment.
  • Potential for a hybrid work schedule.
  • Travel expectations are less than 10%.
