Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, the Process Automation Specialist will oversee Level 2 automation initiatives supporting galvanizing and finishing lines. This role involves the design and implementation of software applications, databases, hardware, and HMI systems to align with the operational objectives of the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, and SQL.
- Familiarity with HMI systems (e.g., WinCC/Wonderware) is essential.
- Proficient in relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to rapidly acquire new technical competencies.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the process manufacturing sector is advantageous.
- Background in hot dip galvanizing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and participate in peer reviews.
- Manage administration, development, technical support, and deployment of existing automation systems, adapting to new requests.
- Provide software configuration and customization, including report setups, data imports, integrations, and custom scripting.
