Ensure the advancement, implementation, oversight, and ongoing enhancement of all production methodologies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee initial activities for new and modified methodologies, including tooling and process innovation, to satisfy defined quality and timeline objectives.
- Accountable for the validation of new or modified methodologies within the production environment.
- Develop and document methods for process control and associated instructions.
- Continuously explore and identify new and/or enhanced equipment or methodologies to support ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Engage in quoting, feasibility assessments, and the development of new methodologies and products.
- Contribute to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) efforts, including feasibility assessments and the creation of related documentation.
- Assist with PPAP submissions as necessary.
- Participate in internal audit activities as required.
- Review and respond to process/manufacturing performance metrics and engage in continuous improvement efforts in this domain.
- Initiate measures to avert the occurrence of any non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify and document any issues for further analysis.
