Geopaq Logic is seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency of our pad department, troubleshooting operational and quality issues, and ensuring that all processes are running to baseline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain continuous manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality production and minimize downtime.
- Conduct real-time assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and implement process improvements.
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to operators and maintenance technicians to ensure knowledge transfer and process consistency.
- Work closely with the Continuous Improvement team to identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs and enhance throughput.
- Ensure equipment integrity through timely replacements and repairs of deficiencies.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer through documentation and SOP creation.
- Provide leadership and direction to operators by coaching and training on manufacturing line specific needs for optimization.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or technical degree with 5 or more years of experience operating continuous manufacturing equipment.
- Experience performing mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems repair is a requirement.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.
