Allegiance Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Process Specialist to become part of a global organization in West El Paso. This role is essential for ensuring the development, implementation, oversight, and ongoing enhancement of all production methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the initiation of activities for new and modified processes, including tooling and process innovation, to fulfill established quality and timeline standards.
- Accountable for the validation of new or modified processes within the production setting.
- Develop and document methods for process control and operational instructions.
- Continuously explore and evaluate new or enhanced equipment and processes to support the organization's commitment to continuous improvement.
- Engage in quoting, feasibility assessments, and the development of new processes and products.
- Contribute to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) initiatives, including feasibility assessments and the creation of related documentation.
- Assist with PAPP submissions as necessary.
- Participate in internal audit processes when required.
- Analyze and respond to process and manufacturing performance metrics, engaging in continuous improvement initiatives in this area.
- Proactively address any non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
- Identify and document any issues concerning product, process, and quality systems.
- Adhere to all mandated safety protocols and report any hazards or violations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ensure timely reporting of all accidents and injuries.
- Familiarity with IATF16949, EMS, and Quality Management Awareness standards relevant to the role.
- Understanding of how this position impacts quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
- Awareness of customer (internal/external) requirements and how this role contributes to fulfilling company objectives.
- Knowledge of Environmental Policies.
- Understanding of how this position influences EMS goals.
- Familiarity with profile extrusion and associated processes.
- Knowledge of advanced quality planning tools and methodologies, including flow charts, control plans, FMEAs, and process control instructions.
- Basic understanding of SPC and process capability assessments, along with gauging requirements.
- Fundamental knowledge of production methods and related instructions.
- Basic understanding of testing and inspection techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Engineering degree or equivalent training in a related field.
