Position Overview

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Remote Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for managing a high volume of inbound communications from clients, with an expectation of handling 40-60 calls daily.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Assist clients in understanding their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities, including deductibles, co-insurances, and co-pays.
  • Facilitate payment processing and establish payment plans for clients requiring self-pay options.
  • Provide empathetic support, focusing on customer service rather than collections, ensuring a positive experience for each caller.
Work Schedule

This position operates from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 45-minute lunch break scheduled between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a call center environment, particularly within the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with handling a high volume of inbound calls.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and explanation of benefits.
  • Understanding of the revenue cycle process and experience with EMR software.
  • Experience with Epic software is highly preferred.
  • Background in Financial Assistance and payment plan setup.
