SUMMARY:

As a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist at Watts Healthcare Corporation, your primary responsibility will be to manage various administrative tasks with precision. This includes responding to inquiries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients. Your role will also involve collecting and validating patient information necessary for billing and reimbursement processes. Your approachable personality will foster a welcoming environment for all patients, positioning you as a key representative of the clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the front desk liaison, welcoming patients and visitors.
  • Confirm patient eligibility for medical services.
  • Facilitate patient movement and communicate any delays effectively.
  • Follow up with patients who have not visited the clinic.
  • Assist in organizing transportation services for patients as needed.
  • Manage phone communications and accurately document relevant information.
  • Provide support to other departments during peak times or staff shortages.
  • Carry out additional assigned tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payer processes.
  • Proven track record in customer service and patient interaction.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in medical front and back-office operations.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.
