OVERVIEW

Manage and support the Trade Compliance operations, primarily focusing on export activities.

This is a self-directed position.

While onsite work is preferred, remote arrangements may be considered initially, with extensive travel required to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role, followed by occasional travel or potential relocation assistance.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and support the local business unit with a primary focus on exports and some import activities.
Take full responsibility for guiding, auditing, and supporting all compliance-related trade issues across various business units.
Prepare and file ITAR licenses (DSPs, TAAs, MLAs).
Collaborate with sales teams and customers to develop sustainable solutions for product offerings.
Ensure adherence to proper procedures, training, and oversight of export licensing as necessary.
Demonstrate strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Assist in the development of procedures and training manuals.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in export compliance, particularly within the aerospace sector, is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with ITAR licensing is a plus; at a minimum, a solid understanding of export licensing requirements is essential.
Comfortable in training and collaborating with customers and sales teams.
Experience working with government and state agencies such as CBP, BIS, and OFAC.
Extensive experience with Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
