Overview

ObjectiveThe Senior Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role in the execution of PacifiCorp's comprehensive regulatory compliance program, specifically focused on FERC/NERC/WECC Reliability Standards. This position involves the ongoing development, implementation, coordination, and maintenance of compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily operations of the regulatory compliance program to ensure adherence to FERC regulations.
- Monitor and assess evolving FERC regulations, collaborating with relevant business units to evaluate impacts.
- Facilitate communication between PacifiCorp and regional utilities concerning FERC compliance.
- Assist business process owners in creating, implementing, and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Plan and conduct oversight activities to verify compliance with FERC regulations.
- Propose project plans, timelines, and budgets to management, while tracking progress against approved strategies.
- Develop effective communication and implementation strategies to ensure sustainability of significant programs and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with business personnel to provide insights and technical support for FERC compliance projects.
- Coordinate with various business units to address identified compliance deficiencies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in compliance or regulatory roles.
• Strong understanding of regulatory policies, procedures, and practices.
• Proficient in project management, analysis, and investigative skills to formulate recommendations or action plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address sensitive compliance issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and present alternatives and recommendations.
• Proficient in using personal computers, including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation software.
• This position is full-time and classified as exempt.
