Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor

As a Front Desk Supervisor at 21c Museum Hotels, you will be responsible for handling internal and external guest issues, ensuring all front desk and valet functions are completed accurately and efficiently. You will also act as a liaison between Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering, and ensure that all requests to these departments are fulfilled within a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage front office and valet staff during shifts, ensuring all established front office and hotel policies are followed.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs, using both manual and computerized methods.
  • Calculate and post monies, receipts, and guest accounts using accurate cash handling methods.
  • Answer inquiries and accept reservations, both in person and by telephone, using suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights and increase occupancy.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems.
  • Experience in dealing directly with the public and acquired general knowledge of basic customer service skills.
  • Fluency in English and ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
  • Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
