Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Island Hospitality Management. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional housekeeping services, including changing linens, restocking supplies, and cleaning guest rooms and public areas.
  • Inspect rooms and public spaces daily to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Train and mentor new housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Notify supervisors of any damages, deficits, or disturbances in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
