We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Residence Inn/Courtyard. Key Responsibilities- Guest Services
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Train and empower front desk staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Front Desk Management
- Oversee the front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures, telephone procedures, and hotel amenities.
- Ensure that front desk staff is trained in all front desk operations and financial control procedures.
- Produce accurate financial reports on time.
- Human Resource Management
- Manage human resources functions, including recruiting, selection, orientation, training, performance planning and evaluation, and pay/reward programs.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative work environment between staff and management.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve employee skills and knowledge.
- Safety and Security Management
- Ensure that the hotel is in compliance with all local health and safety codes and regulations.
- Develop and implement safety and security procedures to minimize risks and ensure guest and employee safety.
- Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction and ensure that all guest needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Train and empower team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Perform daily/weekly inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and maintenance issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Minimum 2 years' prior experience in management, preferably in hospitality or travel and tourism.
- Front desk/guest services experience.
- Flexible schedule.
- Background and job reference check; drug screening.
- Proven track record of success and/or improvement.
- Ability to listen effectively and lead a team of professionals.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team, delegate/manage/organize projects and priorities consistent with company objectives.
