Customer Service Representative for Equipment

Position: Service Advisor
Company: Southeastern Equipment
Southeastern Equipment is a comprehensive equipment dealership specializing in parts, service, sales, and rentals. As we continue to expand, we are excited to offer numerous opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting: Maintain accurate records, reports, and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Time Management: Oversee service operations, inspections, testing, and warranty processes.
- Shop Inspections: Conduct regular evaluations of tools and equipment.
- Service Scheduling: Understand and communicate factory service and maintenance schedules effectively.
- Performance Evaluation: Periodically assess the service department's performance against company objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with parts personnel to ensure proper procedures and documentation are followed.
- Fleet Management: Recommend service vehicle purchases and manage the efficient use of the fleet.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, estimates, and forecasts; maintain warranty records; initiate campaigns to enhance service department profitability.
- Team Oversight: Supervise a team of approximately 3-5 service technicians.
- Billing and Warranty: Complete necessary paperwork related to billing and warranty claims.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience as a service advisor or warranty administrator.
- Proficiency in using multiple software applications and managing various windows simultaneously is essential.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, customers, and technicians.
- Demonstrated capability in managing service operations, scheduling, logistics, and communication.
