Job Summary

This position supports the work of the YMCA of Central Stark County, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to all members, guests, and program participants, responding to their needs and concerns.
  • Promote membership and programs provided by the YMCA, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Build relationships with diverse groups of people, empathizing and problem-solving to meet their needs.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or related experience is required, along with solid computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.

Requirements:

  • Eagerness to welcome, connect, and engage with others.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to work various weekday and weekend shifts, with a minimum of 2 weekday shifts required plus weekends.
  • Approximately 15-20 total hours per week.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $11.10/hour, commensurate with experience.
