Position Overview: T-Mobile is recognized as America's Un-carrier, delivering a robust 4G LTE and groundbreaking nationwide 5G network that ensures dependable connectivity for everyone.

The Senior Credit Risk Analyst role, based in Bellevue, WA, involves collaborating with a team of analysts to uncover new credit segmentation possibilities through statistical methodologies, leading to improvements in our credit decision-making processes, collections strategies, and fraud prevention measures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the Credit Risk Management team and other departments at T-Mobile to implement, analyze, and monitor new credit strategies aimed at risk management.

- Handle extensive datasets, derive significant insights, and effectively communicate actionable recommendations based on these insights.

- Engage in projects from inception to execution, contributing as a credit data authority, analytic methodology expert, and primary statistics analyst.

- Apply statistical segmentation techniques to discover new opportunities.

- Conduct thorough qualitative and quantitative analyses of credit policies to ensure financial objectives are met.

- Develop predictive financial and analytical models utilizing appropriate statistical techniques, including trend and regression analysis.

- Analyze new data and statistical products from external vendors.

- Perform loss forecasting analyses.

- Extract, process, and transform data from various sources.

- Analyze credit bureau data alongside alternative credit data.

- Deliver results with full awareness of project timelines and deadlines.


Required Skills:

- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, advanced Excel, Python, or other statistical/analytical programming languages to manage large datasets and derive key insights.

- Ability to work independently to identify new segmentation opportunities using statistical methods such as decision trees and clustering.

- Experience in developing analytical models using suitable statistical methodologies.

- Skills in extracting, loading, and transforming data from multiple sources for statistical, reporting, and ad-hoc analyses.


Experience and Education Requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management or a related field, or its equivalent, along with 3 years of relevant experience.

ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Engineering Management or a related field, or its equivalent, along with 5 years of relevant experience.

Location:
Bellevue, WA This position is eligible for the employee referral program.

Work Hours:
40 hours/week

Washington Pay Range:
$128,125.00 to $148,800.00 per year. This range represents the general base pay for a successful candidate in the state.
