Caregiver - Senior Living Assistant

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Manager to join our team. As a Care Manager, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Build Meaningful Relationships: Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, providing assistance with daily living activities and attending to individual care needs.
- Notify Management of Changes: Inform management of any changes in a resident's condition and recommend adjustments to their care plan as needed.
- Assist with Life Skills: Support residents in life-enriching activities, such as daily routines, hobbies, and social events.
- Participate in Care Planning: Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs) that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Ensure Resident Safety: Monitor residents during shifts, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Partner with the Community Team: Work closely with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote risk management programs and policies.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to the dining needs of residents and guests, maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
- Dedication to Serving Seniors: A passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive Attitude and Flexibility: A positive attitude, flexibility to perform various duties, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, and may be required to maintain certifications in certain states.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
- Effective Communication: Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and a level of understanding.
