Opportunity for a Senior Commercial Loan Evaluator at MRINetwork Jobs

We are seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Loan Evaluator to enhance our operations. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

  • Assess commercial credit applications
  • Draft and endorse credit approvals
  • Examine and interpret profitability, cash flow, credit assessments, and financial ratios to ensure compliance with standards
  • Review and validate collateral
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape and economic factors affecting borrowers, along with overall business conditions and management capabilities
  • Determine borrower creditworthiness and risk elements, proposing measures for risk reduction
  • Compile credit authorization memoranda and advocate for credit approvals, including a comprehensive financial review and risk assessment
  • Generate reports on problematic loans and provide analysis on the financial health of borrowers
  • Assist account managers in overseeing loan portfolios
Qualifications for the Position
  • At least 5 years of experience in Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loan evaluation
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Expertise in commercial credit products, principles, and methodologies
  • Familiarity with financial management tools, fiscal statements, ratios, budgets, and more
  • Capability to analyze financial documents, business reports, and legal contracts
  • Understanding of federal and state banking regulations, along with strong numerical skills
  • Exceptional judgment and analytical problem-solving skills
