Luxury Resort Seeks Experienced Front Desk Assistant Manager to Join Our Team
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front Desk Assistant Manager to join our team at L'Auberge de Sedona, a luxury Forbes-rated resort located in the heart of Sedona's majestic red rock country. As a Front Desk Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our front office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front office, including check-in/check-out, guest recovery, and PBX operations.
• Supervise and train front desk staff to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and meeting the high standards of our resort.
• Monitor and analyze front office revenue and occupancy to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
• Assist with the preparation of employee schedules, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest requests, complaints, and feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, or a 2-year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and able to operate front office computer systems, including software maintenance, report generation, and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, employees, and other departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations and priorities.
