Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Resources Specialist to join our team at ASRC Federal. The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) Program at NASA HQ, providing critical support in budget planning, formulation, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for projects by analyzing labor, materials, and schedule information.
  • Develop and utilize cost estimation and modeling tools to assess performance and costs.
  • Prepare financial reports for management and resources staff, documenting projected budgets, funds received, direct and reimbursable cost expenditures, and remaining funds available.
  • Suggest process improvements and efficiencies for the organization.
  • Support project management activities, generating presentations, charts, graphs, correspondence, spreadsheets, and other documents related to technical development activities.
  • Interface with center project leads and NASA HQ managers, providing regular communication on upcoming milestones and deliverables.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities and processes to support key activities and meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings on behalf of the customer, taking notes and disseminating minutes and actions.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes.
  • Ability to prioritize work and communicate time estimates when faced with competing priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC.
  • Some travel may be necessary locally and in the US.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government-issued Secret clearance.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experience.
