Job Description

Mastech Digital is seeking a highly skilled HR Specialist II to join our team in the Federal domain. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will work closely with other professionals and managers to ensure that compensation and benefits programs are fair, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analyze data to provide recommendations on compensation and benefits programs.
  • Interpret regulations, policies, and directives to provide accurate pay setting guidance.
  • Assist in updating guidance and procedures on compensation issues and flexibilities.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee grievances related to pay and leave issues.
  • Participate in recruitment and staffing functions, including preparing vacancy announcements and determining qualifications of applicants.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in HR Specialist duties in a Federal agency environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required government security check.
