About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Guidehouse as an Insurance Patient Account Representative. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in resolving account balances and providing exceptional customer service to patients and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve account balances and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and insurance companies to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Process and manage accounts receivable, including billing and follow-up.
  • Work closely with the client's business office staff to ensure seamless communication and resolution of account issues.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of medical provider experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of desktop applications, including Word and Excel.
