Job Title: Assembly Operator

We're seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and contribute to the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems.

Job Summary:

We're looking for an electro/mechanical assembler with 1-3 years of experience in micro assembly or mechanical assembly, or related experience. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, a high energy level, and a commitment to quality products. The Assembly Operator will work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope, follow written and verbal instructions, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble components, wires, and jumpers into microwave assemblies
  • Perform in-process inspection and self-inspection
  • Use miniaturized hand tools, such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers
  • Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in micro assembly or mechanical assembly, or related experience
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Good computer skills
  • Commitment to learn and develop new skills
  • Security clearance required
