Position Overview:


At our Chelmsford, Massachusetts facility, we are seeking Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technicians to support our ongoing expansion in the production of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems.

Analog Devices is looking for motivated and organized individuals who are eager to deliver high-quality products in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.


Ideal Candidates Will Have:
1 to 3 years of experience in Micro assembly or Mechanical assembly, or related fields.

Shift Availability:
Opportunities for both first and second shifts are available.

All candidates must demonstrate teamwork, a strong desire to learn the intricate assembly processes of microwave systems, and the ability to work with delicate components using a microscope.
Excellent communication skills, high energy, and a commitment to quality are essential.
This role involves collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives alongside development engineering and manufacturing teams.
Candidates should possess soldering skills in accordance with IPC-610 standards.

Requirements:
The Manufacturing Assembly Technician position necessitates a high school diploma, with a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma being advantageous.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and willing to obtain a government security clearance.
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions and documentation is required.
Proficient computer skills are essential.
A commitment to learning and developing new skills is expected.
Security clearance will be processed through ADI.

Key Responsibilities:
Ability to work for 8 hours under a microscope utilizing precision hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
Conduct in-process inspections and self-assessments.
Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into assemblies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with company standards.

Follow written and verbal instructions and blueprints for both standard and complex products.
Assemble using a variety of tools and equipment according to specifications and processes.
Utilize adhesives and compounds as required by assembly procedures.
Handle ESD-sensitive materials and equipment.
Willingness to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as necessary.
Demonstrate good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong computer skills are required to access work instructions and support other job functions.
Exhibit a strong awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
Maintain an excellent attendance record.
Possess good hand and finger dexterity to handle delicate components without damage.
