Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States Indotronix International Corporation Full time

Job Overview:
Responsible for performing fabrication and modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of varying complexity levels.

The role involves the installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules within intricate microwave assemblies, often utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.

Tasks include disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on diverse pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that incorporate integrated circuit technology.

These operations are conducted following the rejection of units by testing, where the technician isolates the problem area based on provided test failure documentation.

Work sequencing is planned by evaluating available work in progress to meet production schedules. Measurement equipment (e.g., reticle, drop indicator) is utilized to verify parameters during and after work to ensure conformity to specifications. Collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering is essential to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to meet specifications. The technician is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
Active secret clearance is preferred; however, candidates with a previously held active clearance will also be considered. An interim secret clearance is required to commence the position. (This must be included in the resume)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly
  • Capability to work for extended periods under a microscope and use hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers; strong dexterity and eye/hand coordination are essential
  • Ability to interpret and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; proficient computer skills are necessary for retrieving drawings and work instructions as well as other job-related activities
  • Experience working in a diverse team environment; strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills are required
  • High School Diploma is mandatory
  • Availability for Second Shift Hours from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with ESD and FOD controlled environments
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes for small electronic devices
