Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at the PLANIT Group. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing fabrication and modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies
  • Disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems
  • Utilization of measurement equipment to check parameters during and after work to ensure conformity to specifications
  • Collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to specifications
Requirements
  • Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly
  • Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar tools
  • Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination, and ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings
  • Good computer skills to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment and possess good interpersonal, teaming, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices
  • Experience working on military products in ISO 9001/AS9100 controlled environments
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001
