First Shift Hours: 6:00AM-4:30PM

Overview:

The Electronics Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing assembly and modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of varying complexity. This role requires precision and attention to detail in the assembly of intricate microwave components.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules in complex microwave assemblies, utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.
  • Conduct fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies.
  • Perform surface mount, fine pitch, and through-hole soldering with high accuracy.
  • Utilize miniaturized tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers to ensure precision in assembly.
  • Follow established procedures meticulously to maintain quality standards.
  • Attach wires to load cell tabs according to schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Consistently meet high standards for quality and output.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in electronics or microelectronics assembly.
  • Ability to work for extended periods under a microscope and use hand tools effectively; good dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting detailed process sheets and drawings; computer skills are necessary for accessing drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Active J-STD 001 Certification is mandatory.
  • Must be a US Person or US Citizen.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in an ESD and FOD controlled environment.
  • Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes for small electronic devices.
  • Experience with military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
