Job Overview:

The Technical Program Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives by overseeing the execution of multifaceted technology programs. These initiatives may involve concurrent projects that encompass software development, IT infrastructure deployment, business process optimization, and functional enhancements. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive industry perspective to effectively plan, manage, and execute strategies and tactical plans that align with the project portfolio. The role demands adept change management skills to navigate evolving goals and priorities while ensuring the right balance of talent and resources to meet project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive leadership for significant strategic projects or programs.
  • Oversee the management of projects from initial concept through to successful implementation.
  • Coordinate the planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for projects, identifying risks and ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop project plans with clear objectives, detailed tasks, responsibilities, timelines, and budget estimates.
  • Identify, document, and implement business solution requirements in alignment with program and project goals.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses utilizing various analytical techniques and tools.
  • Provide insights into current and emerging technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Lead advanced multidisciplinary projects and initiatives with significant business implications.
  • Evaluate project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
  • Analyze program-related data to identify improvement opportunities and develop actionable plans.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet customer expectations, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and recommend changes for efficiency and quality enhancements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project execution and change management.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and controls, identifying trends and new standards.
  • Address operational and performance challenges, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Stay informed about compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in leading and executing projects, particularly in technology and cross-functional environments.
  • Expertise in managing complex assignments through extensive industry knowledge and experience.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding professional teams.
  • Strong client/vendor management skills to achieve strategic objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycles.
  • Significant experience in IT resource management.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and preprocessing techniques.
  • Knowledge of various data structures and extraction methods.
  • Desired: Familiarity with project portfolio management principles.
  • Desired: Relevant certifications or equivalent experience in project management.
  • Exceptional skills in strategic planning and execution.
  • Advanced capabilities in information systems analysis and research.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Expertise in establishing and leading project teams, managing resources, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
