The Chief of Staff (CoS) for the Integrated Strategic Engagement team at Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Associate to support the team's goal of driving strategic engagement and communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain project/program schedules, documentation, and progress, providing regular status updates to leadership.
  • Escalate project issues to leadership for resolution, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks and assignments, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to leadership, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Conduct research to prepare reference materials, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Create, update, and maintain foundational documents and executive summaries/briefs, communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Develop and maintain CoS SharePoint content, ensuring seamless access and updates.
  • Draft email verbiage for internal and external contacts, adhering to Navy Federal's writing style and standards.
  • Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication of material shared by the CoS Office, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Participate in planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing programs, driving strategic growth and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Project Management, Communications, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with project/program management processes and methodologies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects, with exposure to diverse internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to compile, organize, and present information clearly and concisely, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment.
  • Experience researching, compiling, and documenting data, business processes, and workflow, with basic analytical thinking skills.
