Job Summary

BMW of North Haven is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in North Haven, Connecticut. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales department and driving sales performance at our dealership. This is a full-time individual contributor role in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to increase revenue and profitability
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure seamless operations and maximize sales opportunities
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of BMW vehicles, features, and technology to effectively communicate with customers
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing, including negotiating sales prices and financing options
  • Create and maintain a positive and professional work environment that promotes teamwork, customer satisfaction, and employee development
  • Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities
Requirements
  • BMW dealership experience a plus but not mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for luxury vehicles, specifically the BMW brand
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on dealership needs
