Office Operations Manager

VanderHouwen is seeking a skilled Office Operations Manager to become a vital part of our dedicated team. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses strong leadership qualities to facilitate seamless organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Office Operations Manager

  • Oversee daily financial activities, including cash flow management, bookkeeping, and invoicing processes.
  • Manage human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees, payroll processing, benefits management, and strategies for employee retention.
  • Ensure timely renewal and accurate documentation of the organization's insurance policies and necessary licenses.
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance in accounting and HR records.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the company website and office equipment.
  • Develop and manage training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide operational support as needed.

Qualifications for the Office Operations Manager

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in office management.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or similar industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, payroll, and insurance administration.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and possess intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively.
