We are seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. This role will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our employees and management team on labor and employment-related matters.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective labor and employee relations strategies to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and management on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective employee relations strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, payroll, and leave.
- Develop and maintain relationships with union representatives and other stakeholders to promote positive labor relations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws and regulations and provide guidance to employees and management on compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in labor relations, employee relations, or a related field.
- Advanced HR certification(s) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
