Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Courtroom Coordinator to join our team at Shelby County. As a key member of our court operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our courtrooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to court personnel, including preparing court documents and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate and schedule court proceedings, including preparing dockets and calendars.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of court files, including examining legal documents for adherence to court procedures.
  • Provide information to various state and county officials, as needed.
  • Enter and edit court information into computer systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform other related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
  • Four (4) years of experience in appropriate clerical, bookkeeping, data processing, or statistical work.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Court-related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
