Position Overview
As a **Courtroom Operations Specialist**, you will operate under the supervision of a designated leader to facilitate the coordination of activities within the designated courtroom or judicial support framework.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in administrative, bookkeeping, data management, or statistical roles
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a judicial environment
- Documentation of education, training, and relevant experience is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance within the courtroom
- Document case outcomes and judicial orders
- Examine legal documents for adherence to established protocols
- Prepare case schedules and input verdicts into the system
- Engage with state and county representatives
- Assist in overseeing court data within the electronic system
- Coordinate with legal representatives and parties involved for court proceedings
- Administer oaths to witnesses and parties
- Support courtroom personnel as required
- Execute additional tasks as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehension of courtroom operations
- Familiarity with legal documentation
- Strong organizational and filing capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in mathematical calculations
- Clear writing skills for legal documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with judicial officials
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work evenings, holidays, and weekends on a rotating basis
- Potential for shifts in a 24-hour operational environment
