About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Director to lead our Amazon Media Analytics program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our media analytics strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure to scale our Amazon Analytics Team function, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.
  • Coach and develop a team of Amazon Marketing Cloud capability experts, creating clear value propositions and socializing with stakeholders to drive wins.
  • Develop and execute an annual media measurement transformation agenda and roadmap in partnership with internal and external Amazon teams.
  • Manage vendors that support our Amazon media analytics efforts.
  • Accountable for delivering high-quality media analysis, recommendations, and impact that drives Amazon Team NS, Share, and Marketing KPIs.
  • Own relationships with Amazon Measurement Product Managers, supporting our overall Amazon Advertising relationship.
  • Bring central learnings and best practices from HQ Insights & Analytics (I&A) Team and adapt for Amazon Team.
  • Guide, design, analyze, and drive insights from Amazon media tests.
  • Monitor industry trends in advanced retail marketing analytics (Amazon and others) for new tools, vendors, and features to ensure we remain competitive.
  • Work closely with Amazon Brand Managers across the organization to support their media strategies, media performance, and integration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of direct experience in performing analytics in marketing sciences capacity at a media agency, market research, or consulting company, or in-house at a brand.
  • Experience building and leading a high-performing team directly or cross-functionally, developing strong partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL is required.
  • Knowledge of web measurement technologies, ad serving platforms, web analytics, test design and analytics, and data visualization skills.
  • Quantitative education or experience preferred (Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Quantitative Marketing).
  • Experience in a cross-functional team environment with agency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acumen of Amazon Advertising ecosystem and measurement suite.
  • Experience with marketing clean rooms.
  • Desire to progress into future analytics roles that have impact over brand strategy.
  • An MBA.
