About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Analytics Director to lead our Amazon Media Analytics program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our media analytics strategy, driving business growth, and maximizing revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure to scale our Amazon Analytics Team function, ensuring we stay ahead of the competition.
  • Coach and develop a team to create a strong Amazon Marketing Cloud capability, fostering partnerships with stakeholders and scaling wins.
  • Develop and execute an annual media measurement transformation agenda and roadmap in partnership with internal and external Amazon teams.
  • Manage vendors that support our Amazon media analytics efforts.
  • Accountable for delivering high-quality media analysis, recommendations, and impact that drives Amazon Team NS, Share, and Marketing KPIs.
  • Own relationships with Amazon Measurement Product Managers, supporting our overall Amazon Advertising relationship.
  • Bring central learnings and best practices from HQ Insights & Analytics (I&A) Team and adapt them for our Amazon Team.
  • Guide, design, analyze, and drive insights from Amazon media tests.
  • Monitor industry trends in advanced retail marketing analytics (Amazon and others) to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Work closely with Amazon Brand Managers across the organization to support their media strategies, media performance, and integration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years of direct experience in performing analytics in marketing sciences capacity at a media agency, market research, or consulting company, or in-house at a brand.
  • Experience building and leading a high-performing team, developing strong partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL, knowledge of web measurement technologies, ad serving platforms, web analytics, test design and analytics, data visualization skills, and quantitative education or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acumen of Amazon Advertising ecosystem and measurement suite.
  • Experience with marketing clean rooms.
  • Desire to progress into future analytics roles that have impact over brand strategy.
  • An MBA.
