K2 Staffing is in search of a proactive Project Coordinator. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Procurement: Assist in various procurement activities, including:
    • Conducting quantity surveys
    • Supporting pricing strategies
    • Preparing scopes of work, bid packages, and contracts for subcontractors
    • Facilitating contract administration processes
    • Assisting in the formulation of project budgets and timelines
    • Negotiating subcontractor and material agreements
  • Project Planning: Aid in the development and upkeep of project schedules and cost management systems, including:
    • Updating schedules
    • Managing material logistics
    • Coordinating utility arrangements
    • Securing necessary permits and licenses
  • Project Operations: Support operational activities such as:
    • Reviewing plans and specifications
    • Assisting with shop drawings and product data
    • Maintaining logs for subcontractors and suppliers
    • Ensuring compliance with quality control standards
    • Participating in project meetings and documenting discussions
    • Managing change orders and subcontractor relations
    • Overseeing material procurement and inventory management
  • Project Closeout: Facilitate the completion of projects by:
    • Finalizing punch lists
    • Coordinating the removal of equipment
    • Submitting as-built drawings and warranties
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including owners, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on timely solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
  • 3-5 years of experience in a construction-related role
