You are an architect who thrives during the Construction Administration phase and possess the insights necessary for workplace-related projects to ensure outstanding design outcomes.

The Project Architect is responsible for planning, coordinating, and engaging in design development, production drawings, specifications, and construction detailing within a collaborative team setting alongside the Senior Project Manager and Principal.

This role requires innovative thinking to address project needs, technical detailing, code compliance, and overall problem-solving.

The Project Architect will coordinate with technical consultants, create and update project schedules, assist in establishing work plans, and may take on minor financial responsibilities related to project profitability and staffing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for this position.

In collaboration with the Senior PM, the Project Architect will oversee multiple assigned projects and guide junior team members to meet project deliverables within set timelines and financial constraints, including agency reviews, permitting, bidding coordination, and construction administration with support from various project administration staff.

This role is also pivotal in mentoring junior staff and participating in various leadership initiatives within the firm.

We view this position as vital to client and project success, as well as firm leadership, and will provide excellent strategic mentorship and professional development opportunities.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution
8+ years of experience in architectural design and documentation
Experience in supervising junior staff and leading project teams
Proficiency in Revit and other design software
Registered Architect or completion of ARE exams preferred
Proficiency in Office Suite, Bluebeam; experience with Procore and PlanGrid is a plus
Enthusiasm and commitment to contributing to our development, teamwork, and culture
Experience in various project types, including hospitality, senior living, mixed-use, or multifamily, is advantageous
Willingness to travel to job sites, client meetings, and other project-related locations.
