Position Overview:
iHerb is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager of Global Social Media to redefine our worldwide social media approach and enhance our social shopping functionalities.

This position entails crafting and executing a thorough social media strategy that aligns with our corporate objectives, overseeing campaign development and implementation, and working alongside cross-functional teams to produce captivating content.

The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in social media management and content creation, a profound comprehension of the health and wellness sector, and the capability to nurture relationships with agencies and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:
Formulate and implement iHerb's global social media strategy to align with overarching business goals.

Campaign Planning & Content Management:
Take ownership of social media campaign planning, content scheduling, and platform-specific initiatives to guarantee timely and effective execution.

Collaboration Across Teams:
Work in conjunction with international teams at iHerb to design and execute localized campaigns, partner with the Creative and Video production teams to create social media video content, and collaborate closely with our Marketplace team to drive growth on TikTok and Meta shopping.

Content Creation:
Collaborate with the Creative Director, Influencer Marketing Manager, Content Strategist, Videographer, and Social Commerce team to produce engaging and informative content for our social media platforms.

Agency & Partner Relations:
Oversee relationships with both domestic and international agencies to ensure seamless execution and alignment with our brand strategy.

Community Engagement:
Interact with followers, proactively engage with other social media accounts, and respond to inquiries in partnership with the Customer Experience team.

Brand Messaging Consistency:
Ensure that brand messaging remains uniform across all social media platforms.

Monitoring Emerging Trends:
Assess new social media tools for potential integration into iHerb's strategies and remain informed about social media trends and platforms.

Team Development:
Build and lead a team of social media professionals.

Internal Advocacy:
Act as an internal advocate for social media, providing guidance on policy matters and ensuring that employee practices align with established guidelines.

Industry Awareness:
Stay updated on trends within the health and wellness industry and customer feedback to continuously enhance our social media strategy.

Qualifications:
A solid understanding of social monitoring and reporting tools, such as Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social, and Bazaarvoice.
Experience managing content across all major social channels including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Pinterest.
Ability to independently create compelling content (text, image, and video).

Exceptional copywriting skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and proofreading capabilities.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Google products and project management tools such as Asana.

Experience Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 7-10 years of experience, ideally in a mid-to-large scale eCommerce organization or marketing agency managing comparable campaigns.
Must be able to present a digital portfolio showcasing previous social media campaign examples.

Educational Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
